Welcome to the On the Right Track’s At Work Section. At Work provides valuable information that Amtrak employees can access with just a few clicks. In this section, you can find ways to help create a healthy environment at work and at home through resources available to you through Operation RedBlock programs and services.
Operation RedBlock (ORB) is a grass roots effort comprised of talented and concerned co-workers who believe in a safe workplace, free of drugs and alcohol. ORB members believe that we are our brother’s keeper and our obligation is to one another. Anyone can get involved in our efforts to make our work place free from alcohol and drug use. ORB Captains in each division help organize ORB awareness activities and fundraisers throughout the year in their geographic areas. Monies raised are used for education and awareness to help employees learn about the purpose of ORB and the help it can offer. ORB members also try to assist fellow employees who are having trouble on the job due to alcohol and/or drug problems. To become involved with ORB or to find out more information, contact your local union representation or visit one of the many ORB activities supported by your local ORB team Captains.
